I met Ashley around the first of the year at the Alexandria Bridal Show, and was excited to meet her and especially excited to be chosen to photograph her wedding. She made the choice to have her wedding and reception at one of CenLa's nicest places to have a wedding and reception!

I have to post a few of their engagement pictures. We had so much fun at

Kee's park that I had to go back the next day with my daughter! What a cute

fun young couple! Enjoy :)

"GOING TO THE BALL" Father - Daughter Dance

Joel had to go to the school to help decorate and set up for the

"sock hop" end of the year dance...and he took Madeline with

him. She was so amazed with the decorations and kids, that

she asked, "Dad, do you think that I could go to the ball?"

For the past two or three weeks, when we go out for dinner,

we have seen a lot of highschool seniors dressed up for prom.

I think that we had more fun watching the high schoolers

than eating out :) I watched Madeline dream of her time

when she would get to go to her Prom.... AKA BALL....

I know that this time will come soon!

So, when she asked her Dad if she could go to the ball, I couldn't

resist. I asked my friend Thuy Taylor of FLORAL ADDICTION

to make a corsage! :) Yep.... it was pretty special! I grabbed my

camera quickly and shot a few....not snazzy lighting or photo

shop actions, just grabbed the shot. Like a lot of us do.

Sometimes those are the most treasured images that we have!

Anyhow, I thought that I would share a few on the blog and also

share a few that NO ONE has seen! Yes!!!!! I snuck in to the dance!

Joel and Madeline don't even know...well maybe they know now :}
